Speechless

My midterm test in public speaking class was informative speech. I chose the topic that was really interesting from the movie that I watched last year. I talked about the beauty of Queen Elizabeth 1 and her cosmetics. First, I really like my opening because I think that it was fun and memorable and can grab the audience's attention so well. Second, I had a catchy overview to make the audience know what were they going to know while listening to my speech. Then I moved to the topic, but it was not as good as I expected. Because I lacked my confidence and I was very nervous. I tried to keep talking until the speech had been finished. Moreover, I closed my speech with an interesting quote that related to my topic. Nevertheless, my informative speech was not perfect. So, I have to practice more and more for my to do it better in the upcoming final speech.
