Legend of roses is complicated and roses are considered a symbol of love and romance. Some legends was said the rose represents a symbol of Goddess Venus, the goddess of beauty and love. Venus is known as Aphrodite, in Greek mythology. It was said that Her tears dripped with the blood of her lover, Adonis, which was killed by a boar. Blood and tears drip down to the ground and become a scarlet flower or rose. But some legends says that The rose is caused by the blood of Aphrodite, which drops to the ground when she stabbed herself with a spike. Nowadays roses are very popular flowers to give to other people and meaningful as well.
