My First Speech

For the first speech, I think I'm very excited because it's my first speech in front of my classmates. Speech requires eye contact with the audience so that the listener can understand what I want to convey but normally when I talk to people, I tend to not dare to make eye contact with the person who I am talking to. Therefore, having to speak in front of a lot of people and making eye contact with them was very difficult for me. Also, the story I said is very sensitive to my mind, so I totally lost focus. I focus on the script too much. I don't dare to meet eye contact. Furthermore, I didn't really focus on my pronunciation, so the listener may not understand some of the words I speak. For my first speech, I thought I was not doing well, I had to improve a lot in order to be able to speak better.
