Simplicity: The path of Zen Empty Simplicity: The path of Zen

on Thu Feb 06, 2020 2:41 pm
Which do you prefer? Slow life or quick life? Have you ever been exhausted with your life? In the morning, you have to wake up, go to work, come home, take a bath, then sleep, having no time to do your hobby. Zen is an alternative way to do work-life balance. Zen is neither the religion nor the rule: Zen is nothing but the path. Zen is in every step of your life. The core idea of Zen is to simplify your life as much as possible. Every day if possible, try staying yourself with a hot cup of tea outside your house, and appreciate the moon quietly. You will be satisfied with the whole clearer world. Spending a little time to be close to nature is a way to relieve your fatigue. Another thing that Zen suggests is to understand yourself; in other words, you have to know what you are longing for, what you are feeling, then accept them no matter how bad or good. I don't mean that I suggest you do bad things, just accept and find a way to solve it later. These are a little part of Zen, this is not covered yet, because Zen can not be defined exactly. It is up to who interprets it; nevertheless, the heart of Zen is still simplicity.
