Bun Bung Fai in Roi-et and Yasothon

In Isan region, people celebrate Bun Bung Fai and come back to their hometown. Bun Bung Fai festival is in Roi-et and Yasothon and is held in many villages in those provinces. It is held on the second weekend of May. During the day, people watch a parade and dance together. At the end of parade, there is a mini concert on a bus. In the evening, people have a party with their family, and they listen to music and dance at the temple where the concert play. Next day, people watch the rocket competition and watch a concert. At the concert, people have fun and some people dance at the mud. People eat many types of food such as pork roast, spicy minced meat salad, papaya salad and Goi (pieces of meat and tasty sauce). People usually wear informal clothes because of the hot weather.
