The Rocket Festival of everywhere in Yasothon were canceled because Covid-19. Rocket Festival is the famous festival in Northeastern or Isaan of Thailand. It was originated in Yasothon province for begging the rain. Almost every village in Yasothon has an own rocket festival. They celebrate Rocket Festival in April or may be in June. The festival spends for 2 days, but a large town such as Mueang Yasothon can be more than 2 days. The date for the festival depends on each village want. At the first day, there are a rocket parade and an Isaan Thai dance, and there is an Isaan-style concert in the evening. In addition, there is a party of each family. On the second day, they will launch rockets to the sky, ninety-nine percent of participants are men. Besides, there is an Isaan-style concert at day. People will make an area in front of the concert muddy, then they role and dance in the muddy puddle.
