Problematic french language exam

This week, I have to take 4 exams, so I have to prepare myself for them. I spent my time reading all day, especially, “French for communication “ because the language is so hard that I have to watch videos in Youtube to make everything clear. The problematic thing in the language is that some alphabets do not sound like English alphabet and sometimes they just become silent alphabet.
Finally, I took the exam and it was not that hard. I do not know if it is easy because I read a lot or the test is intended to be easy.
